Well, Rose died. But like Mel and I speculated before, in a metaphorical way. And I want to stab the writer who made the Doctor disappear before he could tell Rose he loved her. Yeah, I knew that was going to happen, but still *stabbity*. Which is a funny reaction, because she was irritating me so much with her blithely blathering on about always staying together. But as mum said, he'll pick up another bit on the side soon enough.
The conversation beween the Cybermen and the Daleks was so much love. Brilliantly snarky. Much kudos for those who wrote it.
Imaginative Daleks. Who'd've thunk it? And I liked the information about the Timewar. I mean, it played such a big part in Nine and Ten's development, it was nice to hear more about it.
'I was fighting in the frontline. One day I might learn to live with that.'
Millions of Daleks. How come they all got sucked into the Void? They've been sealed inside the Genesis Ark. Same goes for the Cybermen made on this Earth.
Hee for P-Pete and Jackie getting together.
'There has never been anyone else!' *snerks.*
'I don't care about the money. How much?'
Poor Jake. Jilted for Rose. Why did Mickey get back together with her? I'd have thought that his time on P-Earthshacking with Jake in Paris would have helped him get over it. And, he left her in Army of Steel.
Norway! Hee! Thought of
misscam instantly. And more Bad Wolf, of course.
So Rose's now working ofr P-Torchwood. Huh. Well, at least she's doing something.
Yvonne...While I really liked that her determination 'I did my duty. For Queen and Country.' helped her against the upgrade, I didn't like that she seemed to cry. Cybermen don't have tearducts! It'd be illogical. It took away from the scene for me, which otherwise was quite powerful.
Really liked it. Now I want the Christmas-episode.

Date: 2006-07-09 05:16 pm (UTC)Where did he say he saw destroyed? Arcadia, I think... someone needs to check whether it's appeared in any other Doctor Who episode, it could be significant.
I'm not sure how the Yvonne thing worked. I'm /guessing/ that the Cybermen assume their logic will be accepted by anyone with an emotionless look at it, but that she was logically convinced that Britain was more important (which is perfectly acceptable :)), but of course I don't know. Strange woman, her.
As to Earth-made Cybermen being dragged into the Void (for the Daleks, remember that Rose was in the TARDIS the only times /she/ passed between universes before seeing the voidstuff), speculation while watching it was that they'd brought the parts through with them. They certainly didn't seem to have truckloads of raw materials arriving at the tower. So it might work
(Oh, and: I'm thinking half the fandom thought of Miss Cam after hearing that)

Mum and I had the same thought regarding the Cybermen. Was just something that I noticed. And it's not that I objected to Yvonne holding on to the British Empire rules all thing, just that she cried. They're robots!
And Rose also was touched by the Heart of the TARDIS. If that doesn't taint you in some way, I wouldn't know what does.
