Jun. 9th, 2007 09:22 pm*blinks* It's one like Love and Monsters, isn't it? I like those: more focussed on the people who get involved in his adventures than on the Doctor himself.
Those statues were creepy as all fuck. Not so much what they looked like, more their nature. That was too scary.
For a moment I thought that they were after the Doctor. Think of all the energy they'd get off of him. Then again, tey already sent him to 1969, so yeah, kind of blows holes in that theory.
I thought the last images of all those statues were a bit gratuitous. It's one thing to have Blaise comment on the fact that Sister of his got locked into all mirrors, but at least we didn't get multiple shots of her lurking on the edge of mirrors.
Hull? Hull?! Wasn't that voted most depressing city in the whole of England? Even by its own citizens? What a punishment. :P At least she did get happy, after all.
So did Billy show Sally the cars and the box just as a way to get into her pants? I'm trying to find a reason here.
What would people want in Wester Drumlins anyway? It's old, decrepit and all-out eerie.
The Doctor is a smug git, and a lazy bum. Why have Martha support them both? He can do work as well. I think. If he shuts his mouth. :P
"Just nod when he pauses for breath." *snerks.*

"I'm not in Hull!"
"Yeah, you're in Hull."
"Stop saying Hull!" = win. :D

Yes.

The Doctor? Working? Like, in a *job*? Are you familiar with the old robot saying "does not compute"?

Should have seen that coming but I was too engrossed in trying to prevail over the others.

But also the fact that she was reporting a disappearence at the same house they'd all vanished outside.
But mostly the former.
