May. 26th, 2007 09:48 pmNice. Really. Although I thought the scarecrows were a bit daft, if effective.
While I did want to slap people upside the head for the casual racism and the abuse of the lowerclass pupils, I know that it was right for that time. Still...
Am I the only one who with Timothy Latimer went 'Huh, so that's what Turlough was called before he joined up with Five?' I am? Oh, right then. Sneaky boy, by the way, making off with the watch like that.
Nothing much new with the Family. I mean, possession is rather common, isn't it? Though I do wonder what they want, and why the Doctor and Martha were so anxious to get away from them. *sings* "We are family! I got all my sisters with me!"
The romance was quite sweet. Funny to see John Smith so bumbling. Brits and their stiff upper lip. :P
And now we got the Moral Dilemma [TM]. My money is on Smith chosing Nurse Redfern. Martha at the moment is relegated to uppity, uncultured, fired, and disgruntled, possibly delusional, maid. Why would he choose her? The Doctor on the other hand, would save them both somehow. But for that, we need Latimer to hand the watch back. How will it return to its rightful owner?

Date: 2007-05-26 08:09 pm (UTC)John/Joan is beautiful. And they dance and everything. ^^
Is it weird that I like John Smith? He's a bit of a bastard but he's still an awesome character. And he saved that baby with a trickshot, so he's still the awesome Doctor, just... if the awesome Doctor had been an upper-class 1913 human. *nods* Plus he's doing a Very British Voice, which, yay. ♥
I loved Martha in this one. She's so full of copingness.
