Hmmm...I dunno. I quite liked it, but that's more because I watch for Jack/Ianto, Owen/Tosh (oh please. They'd make a nice screwed-up couple. The bastard and the geek), Gwen/boot to the rear when Rhys finally kicks her out. I don't like Gwen, sue me. Whoever had the bright idea to make her the empathic one, and subsequently the one who can't break out of a armlock (seriously, she is a police-woman! Don't they receive training in Wales or something?). And she cheated on Rhys, told him and then wiped his memory. Now he's proposed, and she bitches she only said 'Yes' because no-one else will have her. Cry me a river, dear, I'll build you a bridge so you can jump off it.
Hmmm...Ianto commenting on Jack's atrocious manners in bed. Happy place, happy place. I take it dinner and a movie went well then. ;) And I still think he should have taken Owen up on his offer. 'Just when I thought the end of the world counldn't get any worse'. Piffle. Think of the fans! ;)
I can't say I've seen Jack be so hardass in a while. It's always a bit shocking, but I am a big sap and still expect to see the good and soft in people.
Suicide-by-cop rarely fails, does it? Not that I didn't expect Beth to kill herself at the end. She was too cut up by discovering she was a sleeper-agent. No way she'd let herself be stuck in the fridge for Og knows how long. I do feel sorry for her. And he husband. Poor man. They did love each other. Cell 114 needs to get their asses kicked.
