Cassandra Claire. Subsequent parts are linked in this post. I never read the Draco Trilogy, having come into the fandom rather recently, and I tend to keep away fron fanfiction. But the amount of plagiarism she does in her stories? Yeah, not kosher, really. I mean, I get memorising quotes because they're cool and whatnot, and given the quoting I do in my LJ I'm not innocent either. But at least I credit the sources. And the amount of quoting that goes on in DT is just mindboggling. Are there any original lines?
Anyway, kudos to white_serpent to combing through the whole debacle and reporting it. And Claire is supposed to get a bookcontract? Oy, I hope the publisher has good editors.
