Horatio bloody Caine
How I loathe the man.
I watch CSI. Rather avidly, even, and all three series.
But Horatio Caine gets on my nerves something vicious. He's such a sanctimonious little prick, who just tries to make himself look better by making others look bad. He does his best to come over all caring and compassionate, but he falls short of the mark.
His use of one-liners makes me cringe. It's not the lines themselves: if either Mac or Grissom made them I wouldn't mind. I do with Horatio.
Everything he does is oh-so important, and the rest of the team are there solely to trumpet his glory.
Gah, I only still watch for the other characters, sort of.
