I bite my thumb at thee, script-writer.

Tuesday I saw PotC: At World's End.

There wasn't enough Norrington in there. Really not enough. He's a good character, not too hard on the eyes ;), and in the end he might as well not have been there and Random Male Officer could have helped Elizabeth and her crew escape the Dutchman. Not I mind him dying for what he stood for, but it was in a rather stupid way. Oh wow, nice show of defiance, stabbing someone who can't die that way. *rolls eyes.*

And I really disliked how Will and Elizabeth ended up. Sure they got married, and that kiss was both funny (in that they never once got hit even though the whole deck was covered in battle) and passionate. I am just pissed that he went and became the Dutchman's new captain. How can they be together now? Bit hard to build up a family (children optional) if he can't come on-land but once every ten years. Besides, Elizabeth is still mortal. In fifty years or so she'll be dead, and Will will stil be sailing around the world.

Bah. Bah I say. I shall have to write a strongly-worded letter to the script-writer. Does anyone have his/her address?

Ok, fine, I liked the multiple Jacks. And wouldn't be surprised if there was slashfic written about that already.

And that Tía Dalma/Calypso was rather insane.

And the dead floating/sailing by in Davy Jones's Locker.

Well, I can help you with the Will part. The writers say that if Will came back and his true love was waiting after the first ten years, he'd be free of the curse forever.

That's why Davy Jones was so ticked at Calypso. He had the chance to be free, but she wasn't there, so he cut out his heart.

I'll give you links and stuff if you want more information, but I have to leeeave now. =p

*shifty look* I can't believe I managed to miss that. Then again I took Davy Jones's situation to be unique, i.e not how it would go for the other captains of the Dutchman. It could have done with being clearer.

Cheers anyway.

I didn't like it either. In light of the fact that Will can come back and not be Dutchman captain, however, I'm a little happier with the result.

There was simply not enough going on. If DMC was so energetic, at least keep it that way!

Yeah. I'm happier with that outcome as well. [/romantic at heart]
