So, Torchwood. Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang )

I don't have much else, since I missed parts because of people talking through it. *pointed look at parents.*

I am jealous of all the people who have read Book 7. Want!

Edit: And now that I can read it, since Mum's finished, I find that I don't want to. I mean, then the series'll definitely be over, instead of in this vague stasis it has been for the past two years. And somehow, that makes me sad and melancholic. I will read it, but the thought makes me very sad.

Dad knows I'm doing NaNo. I think he was slightly amused by this, and that's it.

"What are you writing?"
"Fantasy."
"That's what I thought. What is it about?"
"...I don't know."
"You're writing it."
"But I still don't know."

As long as he doesn't ask to read it. I'm perfectly fine sharing it with Mel and random people on the Internet, but I think I'd be mortified if either of my parents read it. Very strange.

Watched the episode Faster Than a Speeding Vixen. (I know, I know, I don't like the series all that much, but I still watch them. What can I say, I'm a sucker for shows that irritate me. That would explain why I keep watching CSI:Miami despite severely disliking Horatio bloody Caine, Supercop.) Well, part of it, it overlaps with Strong Medicine. Anyway )

I'm halfway through Gates of Fire. Yeah, wow. Really liking this book. It's been too long since I entered the Greek world. I like the telling of the Spartans' story interspersed with Xerxes' march through Greece.

*snerks.* Informed my father about (rabid) Harry/Hermione-shippers, after my latest exposure to Danemmas. His reply? 'I saw the first movie, and a good part of the second, but I can't say I saw any of that [Harry/Hermione OTP].' *grins.* He never read the books, and I doubt he will: he's more into thrillers. Weren't the movies also a weapon in Harmonians' armoury?
